Resumen

Religion must be understood a historical human fact and as a social-historical process.
It is not only a cultural limit, but also a cultural process that involves human aspirations, values and the reason to be on a human existance in a certain place and time.
Thatís why, religious as cultures and civilizations, may grow or die, or be the object of the constant flux of social change.
Following Weber and Geertz, we must understand and treat religion mainly as a cultural category.
